Motorhome Tuning with the V Switch
Until now when getting your motorhome tuned / re mapped you have had a choice of a power file or economy file. Now you can have BOTH and you can swap between them.
The V switch is a device that can transfer and store tuning files / re map files for your motorhome and swap and change between the as you require in addition the unit in most cases can read and clear trouble codes

V Switch Advantages
You can store 3 tuning files in the V switch and the price includes 2 modified tuning maps. So you could have a modified tuning file for normal / economy use and a slightly stronger re map, but still safe file for that major journey when you are travelling long distances over high mountains fully loaded and towing a trailer. You know the times when you really want to be on top of the journey. So put in the "performance" file hook up the trailer, LOAD the van for 3 months in Spain and off you go. Get to Spain having had the extra performance at you disposal all the way. Make camp, unhook the trailer, move some gear in to the awning etc. Now the van is running lighter and you don't need all that extra power, simply pop in the ECO file and have the van performing far better than standard and returning maximum MPG.
Both files will give better power and MPG just one is tuned best economy and one for best SAFE power!!!
One question we are often asked is what about warranty and can the dealer tell. We are confident that even with one of our normal tuning files the dealer can not tell , but if you want to be really sure just put the standard file back in . Lending your vehicle out or sending it for some work to be carried out. Just pop in the standard file and restrict the performance while out of your control.
Do you change your motorhome on a regular basis : Good news , put the standard file back into the vehicle you are selling , and the V switch can then be used on your next vehicle as long as it is still one of the many supported . You just pay for the new files! Please note the original file MUST go back into the original vehicle or the unit will remain "locked" to the vehicle.
Fault code reading.
In most cases the V switch is able to read and clear fault or trouble codes. It will not fix the vehicle, but it can tell you the fault which you nay want to fix yourself without going to the main agent etc.
