Volvo HGV Tuning for Power and Economy

Here at Power 4 Economy we can re map (sometimes called chipping) most of the Volvo HGV  truck range.

Connecting directly to one of the Volvo ECU plugs in order to reflash the eprom chip without removing / opening the ECU	Cab tilted on Volvo to allow access to ECU Plug

This is done to increase power, torque and even economy. Each tuning  file is individually written to your requirements. This could be done where you would like the power to be increased to the next model up in the range, (i.e.  FH12 420 taken to the FH12 460 power outputs) or an economy file where the power and most importantly the torque curve characteristics are optimised for improved MPG. This is done by giving increased torque in specific areas meaning that you can achieve higher more efficient gears for a larger percentage of time. By using the gears more efficiently this allows for potentially improved MPG. It is important to note that the economy file does still result in increased BHP.

This  Volvo HGV  truck tuning is carried out in Lancashire , Cumbria , Cheshire and West Yorkshire on a regular basis , but the rest of the UK can be covered by arrangment
